Liberalisation of legal practice in Nigeria – Mr Segun Osuntokun, Partner DLA Piper presented a paper on behalf of BNLF at the Nigerian Bar Association National Executive Conference in Owerri.

Succeeding after QLTT – a seminar addressing the difficulties faced by Nigerian lawyers qualified in England through the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test.
Networking events – BNLF organise regular networking events. Previous events have been held at venues in London such as Brookes Brothers and also hosted by Mrs Boma Ozobia OON, Sterling Partnership and former vice- chair of BNLF.
Christmas Dinners – BNLF have held Christmas dinners at venues such as Cottons and the popular Nigerian Restaurant 805. In 2012 the guests at 805 included the Lagos State Attorney General Ade Ipaye SAN and Lagos State Judges.
BNLF Legal Surgery – First launched in 2005, BNLF lawyers provide free legal consultation to members of the Nigerian community. This was a joint Collaboration between BNLF and the Nigerian Chaplaincy:
