The Law Society will be sending out voting papers for this year's
Council elections at the beginning of June. One of the contested constituencies
is for ethnic minorities (two places). For data protection reasons,
the Law Society is able to send voting papers for this constituency
only to those members who have given explicit consent to receiving
Society notices, based on ethnicity. Solicitors who are eligible to
vote in this constituency, and have not already consented to receive
voting papers, should contact councilelections@lawsociety.org.uk before
26 June, providing their address and Roll number. Voting will close
on 3 July.
